“Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe is about a person whose lover has died. It is a free verse. It has imagery when it talks about the sea side and the water hitting the shore. It also uses personification when it says “A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.” I liked the poem because you can almost picture his emotions about it.
