“O Captain! My Captain!” by Walt Whitman is about a leader who has died. It is a free verse poem. It has rhyme in it when it says “My captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still; My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse or will.” It is an extended metaphor for the Lincoln assassination.
